Overview
Workspace Orgs are shared across your entire workspace.
They are not tied to one specific project. Instead, they can be used in multiple projects whenever needed.
When would you use this?
- A shared DevHub
- A shared Sandbox used by multiple teams
- A central production org
Global vs Non-Global in Workspace Orgs
- Global → Available to all projects in the workspace
- Non-Global → Available only to selected projects
Think of it like this:
- Global Workspace Org = Public to the whole workspace
- Non-Global Workspace Org = Shared, but restricted to specific projects
Steps
- Open Orgs from the workspace sidebar.
- Authenticate and choose the org type.
- Confirm connection status.
Expected outcome
Your org appears in the workspace list and can be used in projects.
