I want to share a day that encapsulates why Tekunda is such an incredible place to work. Last week, our team took a break from regular work to dive into a day filled with learning, laughter, and genuine bonding. Check out the video to see how it all went down!
We started our morning away from our desks, gathered in a conference room for some light-hearted games. "Two Truths and a Lie" kicked off the day. It's surprising how much you can learn about your teammates when trying to decipher the truths from the lie. Next, "Blind Drawing" had us in stitches, but also showed how communication is key in even the most chaotic situations.
What I love about Tekunda is that we're not just colleagues; we're a community of passionate tech enthusiasts. So, the afternoon saw five of our team stars presenting on hot tech topics like WebRTC, NextJS, Celery, and GraphQL. We believe in 'Knowledge Sharing,' and these sessions displayed just how much expertise we have within our walls. It was an awe-inspiring experience, seeing our own team members share knowledge that rivals any external tech conference out there.
After enriching our brains, it was time to challenge them. We ended the day with an escape room activity. There's nothing like a ticking clock to ignite team spirit and get everyone working together toward a common goal. Strategy, quick thinking, and teamwork led us to "escape," but it was clear that the real win was the collective problem-solving that got us there.
Last week’s activities were a beautiful representation of our values and work culture.
